What we build.

Kano Labs operates across four practices. Each company we start sits in one of them, and we run them ourselves rather than outsource to operators.

SaaS development

We design and run subscription software platforms. Web and API products with their own revenue, retention, and unit economics.

Mobile applications

We build native iOS and Android apps. Consumer products designed to live on phones for a long time.

We craft websites, tools, and digital properties. Performance-first, content-rich, designed to last.

E-commerce

We operate direct-to-consumer brands serving international markets. Full ownership of supply, brand, and channel.

How we build.

Kano Labs is a holding company. We start internet businesses and run them ourselves. We hold them for the long term.

Principles

Start from scratch.

We build what we own. Acquisition is rare, and only when it gets us where we want to go faster than starting from zero.

Operate, don’t allocate.

Kano Labs isn’t a fund. We don’t hire operators to run the companies. We are the operators.

We hold.

This is set up to own businesses for a long time. Exits aren’t the plan.

We’re heads down on the first ventures. More once they ship.

Operator-led from day one.

Kano Labs is run by two co-founders with complementary operating backgrounds. We build and run the companies we own.

01Co-founder

Educated at one of France’s top business schools. Spent the last several years at one of the world’s largest US technology companies before co-founding Kano Labs.

02Co-founder

Educated at a leading French university. Several years in product, buying, and merchandising at the largest French retail groups, with deep operating experience across the French market.
